The room was beautiful with a view of the ocean. It was very quiet. We were able to take a hot shower after a long trip. Great location, near restaurants and bars. A lovely way to wrap up a vacation in Peru. I was able to arrange a taxi to and from the airport through the hotel for 18 USD or 55 soles. It was nice not to worry about transportation in Lima.
They forgot to give us our wake up call. But I had a travel alarm with me, so it was fine. Bring a travel alarm to Peru. Some hotels do not have phones in the rooms and/or it is hard to communicate about a wake up call.
This was a lovely hotel filled with the artwork of the Peruvian artist Victor Delfin. We had a large bedroom with a sitting area -- very clean. The hotel had been the home of the artist and his family and sits in Barranco, an area of Lima right on the coast.
Was an idyllic location after a busy trip in cusco. Also a very unusual place as it is the home and studio of a very famous artist. The whole stay was wonderful and something very different. I would stay there again and recommend it to everyone I know.
Very much. It is a unique place and the rooms are very large. It is a private home turned b&b but it is right on the water with lovely views and sunsets. The neighborhood is interesting but not particularly safe at night. I would recommend it to anyone who isn't looking for a traditional hotel and likes the B&B concept.
I liked everything about it but knew what to expect (no phones in rooms, etc.)
Lillian the manager went out of her way to be helpful and was very caring and knowledgeable. The staff were great and never intrusive. Loved the place - it is very special and highly recommend to anyone who likes character and this area.
The location is further away from the airport than we expected but the house is amazing. The rooms were lovely, ours had a shared terrace. The weather was good which helped so we were able to take advantage of the pool in the grounds. The breakfast was really nice and filling. The staff were lovely despite our lack of spanish.
Beautiful view of the ocean. Unique experience. Friendly staff that made us feel at home and was genuinely interested in making us comfortable.
Wi Fi was spotty
Incredible place full of arts made by Victor Delfin - the farher of this family owned hotel. Make sure to get the room with balcony and the most fantastic view at the ocean - this truly is your second home
